This website

This website does not collect your name, email or other personal details and has no sign-up forms. It uses basic, cookie-free visit statistics to see which pages are useful.

The app: what we collect and why

Account: email, date of birth (to confirm you are 18 or older) and optional phone number.

Profile: name, gender, area, languages, bio, what you are here for, weekend interests, photos, and optional work and dating details. If you choose, an approximate location rounded to about 1 km, used only to suggest places that are convenient for you and someone you connect with.

Messages and plans you send, so chats work.

Purpose: to run the app, show you to people with things in common, let you chat and plan, and keep the community safe.

What other people see

Other people see your first name, age, area name, bio, interests and photo. The dating section is shown only to people who are also here for dating and whom you are interested in. Your location and distance are never shown.

Consent

We process your data with your consent, given when you sign up. You can edit your profile, untick Dating to hide your dating section, or withdraw consent at any time, which means we delete your account.

Age

The app is for people aged 18 or older. We block sign-ups under 18 and delete data of anyone we learn is a minor.

Sharing and storage

We do not sell personal data. Data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase) and shared only with service providers who help us run the service, under appropriate safeguards.

Deletion and your rights

In the app, Settings then Delete my account removes your profile, photos, messages, matches, groups and likes. You may also ask to access or correct your data, and nominate someone to act for you, as the DPDP Act 2023 provides. Write to us or use our Grievance page.
